About Gentlemax Pro
Gentlemax Pro is a model that can use two lasers, an alexandrite laser and a YAG laser, and has the functions of both.
The characteristic of the alexandrite laser is that the laser is irradiated while reacting to the color of melanin, etc., but the YAG laser has a long wavelength, so it has characteristics that are specialized for deep-rooted hair and sunburned skin.GentleMax Pro can switch the laser irradiation time, so it can efficiently transmit laser light deep into the skin while minimizing damage to the skin. This makes it possible to apply it to a variety of symptoms.
Like GentleLase Pro, it is equipped with a DCD function that blows out cooling gas just before laser irradiation, reducing heat damage during hair removal and eliminating the need to apply gel to the treatment area.It is also a beauty device that is also used for laser facials, so it can be used not only for hair removal but also for skin care.

Difference between alexandrite laser and YAG laser

Expected beautiful skin effects
- Removal of spots and freckles
- Pore tightening effect
- Less likely to get acne
- Improvement of pigmentation, dullness, and sagging
- Whitening effect
- Skin quality improvement effect

Features of Gentlemax Pro
-
Point
Effectively removes hair from downy hair to thick hair
Alexandrite laser reacts with melanin pigment and can remove thick hair such as underarms and VIO.In addition, the YAG laser installed in Gentle Max Pro has little absorption by the melanin pigment in the epidermis, so it efficiently transmits heat to the area around the hair and hair follicles, resulting in effective hair removal.
-
Point
Beauty effect
In addition to the hair removal effect of long pulse alexandrite, you can expect a high skin beautification effect due to the collagen growth effect due to the heat effect from the epidermis to the dermis tissue. In some cases, atopic dermatitis at the irradiated area has improved, and you can expect a clearer skin quality effect.
-
Point
Reduce pain with less damage
By adjusting the irradiation time, the laser passes through the skin surface, which has a lot of melanin pigment, and reaches the hair roots directly. Therefore, there is almost no direct damage to the skin, and effective hair removal can be performed with minimal damage. The epidermal cooling system (DCD) protects the skin and completely dissipates heat from the skin, so even tanned or dark skin does not have to worry about burns.
-
Point
High speed irradiation
The spot size can range from 6mm in diameter to a maximum of 24mm, and by setting the repetition frequency to 2Hz, it is possible to shorten the treatment time even over a wide area.
-
Point
Extremely low risk of hard hair
The YAG laser installed in Gentle Max Pro has the longest wavelength among medical lasers, so the laser can reach hair deep in the subcutaneous tissue, reducing the risk of hard hair.Additionally, the stronger the pigment in the alexandrite laser, the more effective it is, so it can also be expected to eliminate hard hair.
Treatment progress
- Immediately after irradiation, there may be some redness around the hair, but it will disappear within 30 minutes to a day.Due to its high hair removal effect, people with thick body hair or depending on their constitution may experience bumps in their pores that look like mosquito bites, but this will disappear in about half a day.
- When taking a bath on the day of treatment, wash gently and do not rub the treatment area.
- There are no restrictions on exercise or drinking.
- Destroyed hairs may remain in the pores after laser irradiation and may appear black. It will fall off naturally in about 1 to 2 weeks.
- Acne or folliculitis may appear 2 to 3 days after irradiation as a temporary change that occurs because the hair irradiated with the laser does not come out properly. It will disappear naturally in a few days.
- You can apply makeup and go home immediately after the treatment.
- Please use sunscreen cream when going out to prevent the effects of ultraviolet rays.
*Please note that pain, downtime, and effects may vary from person to person.

Risks and disadvantages
In rare cases, hair may thicken or become stiff.
Although there is a probability of about 1%, medical laser hair removal may damage the hair roots, causing the hair to grow thicker or become harder.Don't worry, there is a way to correct hair thickening and stiffness by changing the output frequently and irradiating with another hair removal machine.
I may feel strong pain
Although there are individual differences, the YAG laser used in GentleMax Pro may cause strong pain depending on the treatment area. There are ways to relieve the pain by using numbing creams.
FAQ
- Do you have any pain?
- You won't feel any pain in most areas. You may feel some pain, but it is mild pain.

- Is there anything I should be careful about before undergoing laser hair removal?
-
- Please be careful not to get sunburned.
- The laser light reacts with melanin in the skin.If you tan before hair removal, your skin will produce a large amount of melanin, making it easier for the energy to be absorbed by the melanin in the epidermis rather than the hair.Doing so may cause burns or reduce the effectiveness of the laser.
- Please shave your hair.

- Do not tweeze.

- After about a week, the hair remaining in the pores will start to come out.It will fall off naturally, but if it bothers you, please remove it with tweezers. After laser hair removal, new hair will not grow for about a month.Treatments are performed at approximately two-month intervals due to the hair cycle, but please do not pull out tweezers during that time as this may disrupt the hair cycle.
- Are there any side effects?
- It may cause burns (inflammation), folliculitis, and hard hair.
Precautions before and after hair removal irradiation
-
[Before irradiation]
avoid sunburn
Medical laser hair removal reacts to black pigment (melanin). Therefore, if you are sunburned, the laser will react with the melanin pigment in your skin, increasing the risk of burns, so be sure to take sun protection.Depending on the degree of sunburn, hair removal irradiation may not be possible.
-
[Before irradiation]
don't tweeze
Medical laser hair removal removes hair by reacting with the melanin pigment in the hair root, so if you remove the entire hair root, the hair removal effect will be lost. Please be sure to shave your hair during your visit to the hospital and before irradiation.
-
[Before irradiation]
Doesn't irritate
There may be redness, but it will subside in a few days, so don't worry, but please do not rub it too hard with a nylon towel or body brush when taking a bath.
-
[After irradiation]
Take measures against UV rays
After hair removal irradiation, you will be more susceptible to the effects of ultraviolet rays, so be sure to take sufficient measures against ultraviolet rays even after irradiation.
-
[After irradiation]
Take a bath with lukewarm water
Make-up and bathing are possible from the same day. However, if redness remains, avoid bathing in hot water.
-
[After irradiation]
Moisturize
After hair removal irradiation, your skin tends to dry out, so please keep your skin moisturized.
*If you notice any other abnormalities on your skin, please consult us immediately.
