Victoza (GLP-1 receptor agonist)
Victoza is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that supports blood sugar control and promotes insulin secretion. It is also effective for weight management by suppressing sudden rises in blood sugar levels during meals and helping the body use sugar. It also suppresses appetite and prevents overeating.
Start with 1 mg once a day, either in the morning or evening, by subcutaneous injection. After consulting with your doctor, you can increase the dose by 1 mg at intervals of at least one week, up to a maximum of 0.3 mg.

Rybelsus

Rusefi

About Victoza, Ribersus, and Lucefi
Victoza, Rybelsus, and Lusefi are approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as treatments for type 2 diabetes, but their prescription for the treatment of obesity is not approved in Japan. I purchase them through a domestic pharmaceutical distributor.
Availability of approved drugs in Japan
There are no GLP-1 preparations approved in Japan for the efficacy and effectiveness of "obesity treatment."
- Ugobi and Sanorex, which contain the same ingredients as Victoza, have been approved in Japan as treatments for obesity.
- Ugobi, Sanorex, and other drugs containing the same ingredients as Rybelsus have been approved in Japan as treatments for obesity.

Information on safety in foreign countries
